KATA BENDA TUNGGAL DAN JAMAK (SINGULAR AND PLURAL NOUNS)

CARA MENGGUNAKAN INDEFINITE DAN DEFINITE ARTICLES (A, AN, THE)

Types of Articles

    Example :
    • I always listen the song every night.

    • The book you wanted to buy is out of stock.

    articles : a, an, the

  2. Indefinite Articles

    Example :
    • I always listen a song every night.
(Saya selalu mendengarkan sebuah lagu setiap malam).

    • He is a doctor in a hospital.

CARA MENYATAKAN WAKTU (TELLING THE TIME) DALAM BAHASA INGGRIS

how to tell the time

How to Tell the Time

UnitMenitArti
o'clock00:00tepat.
quarter past ...00:15lewat 15 menit.
half past ...00:30lewat 30 menit.
quarter to ...00:45kurang 15 menit.

    Example :
    PukulPengucapanArti
    02:25It's two twenty-five2 lewat 25 menit
    04:36It's four thirty-six4 lewat 36 menit
    08:11It's eight eleven8 lewat 11 menit
    10:45It's ten forty-five10 lewat 45 menit
    06:05It's six O-five
    (seperti huruf O)
    6 lewat 5 menit

  2. Minutes + past/to + hour

    Example :
    PukulPengucapanArti
    05:00It's five o'clockpukul 5 pas
    05:10It's ten past five5 lewat 10 menit
    05:15It's a quarter past five5 lewat 15 menit
    06:20It's twenty past six6 lewat 20 menit
    06:25It's twenty-five past six6 lewat 25 menit
    06:30It's half past six6 lewat 30 menit
    07:35It's twenty-five to eight8 kurang 25 menit
    07:40It's twenty to eight8 kurang 20 menit
    07:45It's a quarter to eight8 kurang 15 menit
    08:50It's ten to nine9 kurang 10 menit
    08:55It's five to eight9 kurang 5 menit

arti a.m dan p.m

Istilah "a.m" dan "p.m"

PeriodeArti
a.mante-meridiembefore noon (before midday)
p.mpost-meridiemafter noon (after midday)

IntervalArti
6 a.m - 12 p.m in the morning (pagi)
12 p.m (o'clock)at noon (tengah hari)
